These images are used to promote Garnier hair products.

The composition of the advert is very powerful but also humorous. It grabs the viewers attention as it is different and looks quite strange.
The use of the plain items of clothing ensures that it works, as it makes the male and female look as if they have the same body. However, you cannot see the woman's hair in the first image, as her hair is dark, like her top. Therefore, to improve that particular image I would have both the male and female in a plain whit t-shirt instead, so that the focus of the image is on the hair. The simplicity of the background ensures that the focus is on the hair.  Overall, I think the image is very clever and well thought out.
